2011 USA Women’s 10km Championship
For the seventeenth time in the past eighteen years, the Tufts Health Plan 10K for Women has been selected by USA Track & Field (USATF) as the 2011 USA Women’s 10km Championship.
Along with the championship, the 10K for Women is also part of the 2011 Women’s USA Running Circuit (USARC), a USA Track & Field road series featuring national championships. Results from all the championship races are used in determining the standings in the circuit and who will be eligible for the USARC championship prize money. Placing in the Championship is limited to U.S. citizens, and some of the best road racers in the country will be lining up for the honors.
Conventures, Inc. will also work closely with the New England Association of USATF to ensure that the race has broad participation and involvement from the local running community.
